Some big news for the Red Raiders Men’s Basketball team going into 2020-21, Joel Ntambwe is back in the 806 and on-campus according to Chris Beard.
Ntambwe, transferred from UNLV and was forced to sit out last season due to the NCAA denying his waiver. A 6’8 PF, Ntambwe averaged 11.8 pts and 5.5 rebs as a true freshman at UNLV.
Joel is projected to be a starter for the Red Raiders and be an impact player on the offensive end. He is a stretch 4 that spaces the floor and allows for drive and kick opportunities while being a solid shooter. On the defensive end, his athletism allows for switches to be less problematic and the Red Raiders to play defense more smoothly and effectively.
