Game Preview/ Where To Watch: #14 Texas Tech vs #17 Houston

Both the Red Raiders and the Cougars started off their seasons with two double-digit wins. On Sunday they will face off in Ft Worth to see which team will establish themselves in the top 25 early.

U of H comes into the game shooting 41% from the field against defenses that aren’t exactly highly touted, so they will have to shoot better if they hope to have success against Coach Beards’ swarming defense. The cougars do have the advantage in rebounding which could help account for the lower shooting percentage. Meanwhile, the Red Raiders come into the game shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three as long as they can keep that pace and play their style of defense they shouldn’t struggle against Houston or any other them for that matter.

Watch for Texas Tech to continue to play through Mac and Kyler on offense. Also, every starter should get a good amount of minutes for the first time this season. As in the first two games, they didn’t see much second-half action.

This Sundays match up will be the biggest non-conference game of the season for either team and really the first must-watch of the season as well, find out where to do so below:
