Mac McClung named to AP All-Big 12 First Team

Mac McClung has been named to the AP All-Big 12 First Team, AP announced earlier today. This is his first All-Big 12 First Team Selection of the season. He was awarded Newcomer of the Year and All-Big 12 Second Team by the Big 12 Coaches yesterday.

McClung has averaged 17 points per game in the conference season, one of the highest in the Big 12. He is also averaging 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per conference game this season. Known for his acrobatics and dunking ability going into this season, McClung has shown more of an ability to hit big clutch shots, shoot free-throws, and simply lead this team on the offensive side of the floor.
