Blidi will be a sophomore this season. He appeared in all ten games last year as a true freshman. He also saw his playing time increased as the season went on. He totaled six tackles and one hurry on the year. He should expect to see a significant amount of playing time this year. He was highly recruited coming out of Portales High School in Portales, New Mexico. He was rated as a 3-star prospect and the top prospect in the state of New Mexico.
Blidi’s best skill set as a defensive lineman is his violent hands and how he uses his quickness against opponents. Defensive linemen have to be agile, quick, and tougher than the offensive line. Games are won and lost in the trenches and it just depends who’s gonna win the fight. Look for Blidi to take on a more important role this season for the Red Raiders and contribute to making a huge impact.
Blidi not only works hard on the field, but puts that same effort into the classroom. It is not a secret that he should be a star on the rise and one for Tech fans and the Big 12 to look out for in the next few years to come.
