While they couldn’t sustain their first-day performance, the Red Raiders battled back and finished 11th at the NCAA Golf National Championship over the weekend.

Ludvig Aberg finished -1 for the tournament and finished in the top-10 individually. He led the Red Raiders all season with his great play and was the only one to finish below par on the tournament. He shot a -4 on Monday. He birdied holes 2, 4, 5, 11, and 17 on the day.

This team accomplished so much this season. They finished in the top half of most of their regular-season tournaments and finished fifth in the Big 12 Tournament. Going into the Albuquerque Regional, they were the 22nd ranked golf team in the nation. They dominated the final day of that tournament, shooting a -11 as a team to come from behind and win the entire tournament, earning them a National Championship Appearance.

This was another great season for the Texas Tech Golf Team! Kyle Hogan and Andy Lopez graduated and will no longer be on this team. The rest of the squad will be back for another season in Lubbock!
