Another guard has committed to Texas Tech and Mark Adams. Louisiana Transfer Mylik Wilson has agreed to play his next chapter of basketball at Texas Tech. Wilson was the team’s leading scorer last season averaging 12.9 points per game. He is also a solid rebounder as he averages 5.5 per game. Wilson was the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the year in 2020.
Wilson will come in and ultimately play point guard, as he averaged 3.2 assists per game last season. This is not good news for those who think Mac McClung will make a return to Lubbock as McClung was most likely going to play that position.
