The Texas Tech Red Raiders Men’s Golf team has an eye-popping eight players that could qualify for the US Amateur tournament from Aug 10-16 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon.
According to Texas Tech head coach Greg Sands, typically anywhere from three to four players qualifying is the mark for a good team. What even makes the feat more impressive is that the field has shrunk this year from its standard 312-man field down to 264.

Sandy Scott: #9
Ludvig Aberg: #37
