Former Texas Tech starting RHP and the 66th player drafted in Junes MLB Draft, Clayton Beeter, was added to the Dodgers 60-man player pool.

Much like Josh Jung was added to the Rangers player pool last month, Beeter will have the same opportunity but with the Dodgers. Beeter signed his contract with the Dodgers for $1,196,500 ($93,200 above slot). The RHP who is a naive of Fort Worth, will head out to Dodger stadium and begin prep for the 2020 MLB season.

Beeter is unlikely to make his MLB Debut this year, but being around pitchers such as Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw and Kenley Jansen will help jump start the electric right handers career.

Here is how MLB Pipeline graded and scouted the former Red Raider,

Scouting Grades/Report (20-80 grading scale)
  • FASTBALL: 60
  • CURVEBALL: 60
  • SLIDER: 60
  • CHANGEUP: 50
  • CONTROL: 50
  • OVERALL: 50
