When game day finally rolls around on September 12th, Raiderland will have quite a few changes to help stay within the regulations put out by local and state governments. The first change you will notice is the absence of Raider Alley and any large sponsored tailgates or tents as those have been officially canceled for the 2020 season. For everyone else looking to have a tailgate with some friends or your greek life organization you will have to stay within the following guidelines:

Lots will open 3 hours prior to kick off regardless of whether it’s a morning or evening game and will be cleared 1 hour after the game is over.

Texas Tech University will not allow for tents larger than 10’ by 10’ and must be placed no closer than 10 feet from neighboring tailgate groups.

In compliance with Texas State disaster orders, you may have no more than 10 people at an outdoor gathering on public property.

For everyone who uses the RV lot, they will open at 5:30 PM on Fridays and will be policed with the same rules as the other lots on campus.

For those of you wondering about parking whether it be just to park or to tailgate Texas Tech also has a new system for parking passes made just for 2020. The statement by TTU athletics can be summed up with the following:

Fans seated in the general bowl will follow a similar process as ticket sales. Parking passes will be sold online while selecting your seats on your selection day which is based on your Red Raider Club membership level.

When buying parking passes, you will also be supporting the Red Raider Club Excellence Fund and will receive membership credit along with triple priority points.

Suite holders receive their full-season parking included in their suite agreements, including all additional parking covered by their membership level. Club Seat owners will also have the same full season parking allocated in their account.

For everyone in the lower bowl you can get parking passes while selecting your seats or by calling the ticket office.
