Adrian Gregory Steps Down as Texas Tech Head Softball Coach

Texas Tech Softball now looking for a new leader

In a surprising release, Texas Tech Athletics revealed on Tuesday night that head softball coach, Adrian Gregory, has stepped down effective immediately.

Gregory, has been the head coach of the Red Raiders softball team since 2014. She was slowly turning the program in the right direction as the Red Raiders went 42-16 in 2019. She led Tech to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2012.

During her time as the head coach of the softball team, Gregory produced, 1 All-American, 5 All-Region selections, 15 All Big-12 Selections, 2 National Players of the Week, 9 Big-12 Weekly Honors, 37 Academic All Big-12 selections, and 1 CoSIDA Academic All-District.
