Jakeem Grant’s Punt Return Leads this Week’s Red Raiders in the NFL

The NFL was lively this weekend and former Red Raiders made some big moves this week. Here are the highlights from this last week in the NFL!

Jakeem Grant:

Grant only had one catch for 15 yards but made headlines by returning the first punt for a touchdown in the NFL this season.

Kerry Hyder:

Hyder has been making an impact for the 49ers with another sack this weekend, bringing his season total to 4.5 for the season. He also contributed with 3 tackles, one being for a loss.

Jordyn Brooks:

Brooks came back from injury this week. He played 50% of the snaps and made 4 tackles.

Danny Amendola:

Amendola had 3 catches for 54 yards in the loss to the Colts this weekend. He played 67% of the offensive snaps and has become the team’s main slot receiver.

Patrick Mahomes:

Mahomes only played 3 quarters of the blowout win against the Jets, but the former Red Raider still made a huge impact. He threw for 416 yards and 5 touchdowns against a lowly and winless Jets team this week.
