Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Ranked #14 in AP Preseason Top 25 Poll

The Red Raiders will begin their season squarely in the middle of the Top 25

One of the most highly touted teams in Men’s Basketball history is set to start play on Nov 25th for Texas Tech and will be ranked 14th in the country when they tip their season off.

The Red Raiders are the third highest-ranked Big 12 team in the AP Top 25 Preseason Poll only behind the Baylor Bears (#2) and the Kansas Jayhawks (#6).

If you remember, in the Big 12 Preseason Standings, Texas Tech was projected to finish 5th in the conference behind the aforementioned Bears and Jayhawks as well as the West Virginia Mountaineers and Texas Longhorns. The latter two teams, slotted in at #15 (West Virginia) and #19 (Texas).

In all, the Big 10 had the most teams in the Top 25 with seven teams making the poll.
