Preview: On Wednesday night Texas Tech met or exceeded every expectation given to them in the pre-season while Sam Houston State had a less than impressive showing against SMU. Friday Night Texas Techs’ main focus will be stopping SHSU Guard Zach Nutall who put up 36 points on 52% shooting from the field. SHSU has more threats to focus on as all 5 of TTUs starters scored double-digits against NWST but primarily the 2 headed scoring monster of Mac McClung and Terrence Shannon Jr. Once again Texas Tech should beat SHSU in almost every category leading to another blowout in Lubbock.
