Recruiting Profile: Kevin Obanor

Oral Roberts forward transfer, Kevin Obanor, became one of the most looked at players from colleges. Obanor stands at 6’8 and averaged 18.7 points and 9.6 rebounds last season at ORU.

Texas Tech was one of the first colleges to reach out to Obanor when his name hit the portal. Texas Tech has been one of the many colleges in the mix recruiting Obanor. He released a top-2 this morning that included Texas Tech and Arkansas!

As Mark Adams rounds out his final selections of his 2021-2022 Red Raider basketball team, the Red Raiders got the huge return of Terrence Shannon Jr. The program is now set on Obanor to be one of the final pieces of the puzzle. Only two scholarships remain for the Red Raiders, and Adams has made it clear, he wants Obanor to have one.

If added, Obanor would most likely start at the center position. Guns Up!
