Omaha has started their season 1-3 with their only win coming from their first game of the year against Hastings. In their most recent game against the Grizz from Montana, Omaha ended up falling 68-47 losing the Big Sky League Challenge. On the season, the team is scoring 61.7 points per game while giving up 69.2. The Mavs on average turn the ball over 12 times a game. Their leading scorers are guard Kyle Luedtke with 11.3 points per game, guard Nick Ferrarini with 10.0 points per game, and guard Felix Lemetti with 7.8 points per game. As a team, they shoot 38 percent from the field and 35 percent from three.

After their game in Corpus, the Red Raiders now have five players who average over double-digit points. These players are Bryson Williams averaging 16.5 points per game, Terrence Shannon Jr. averaging 16.0 points per game, Kevin McCullar averaging 15.3, Davion Warren averaging 14.3, and Kevin Obanor averaging 10.0.

The Red Raiders are shooting at 48 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from the three-point line. With Omaha averaging 12 turnovers a game and the Red Raiders averaging 11 steals per game, I would say this is a favorable matchup strictly defensively. The team still needs to come out and perform like we know they are capable of.

You can watch the game with an ESPN Plus Subscription. The BIG12 and ESPN have a deal to broadcast all basketball games on their site. Looking forward to seeing all the fans who pack the United Supermarkets Arena and wishing the best to the team. WRECK EM!
