Patrick Mahomes has the Most Popular MLB Jersey

Yes, you read the headline correctly. Patrick Mahomes, current Kansas City Chiefs, and former Texas Tech QB, currently has the most popular MLB jersey on fanatics.com.

Back in July, Mahomes became part owner of the MLB team that shares the parking lot with the Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals. By now, everyone that follows Patrick Mahomes knows that his dad, Pat Mahomes, was a pitcher in the major leagues for 11 seasons and played with six teams. Patrick himself was drafted out of high school as a pitcher but decided to be a dual-sport athlete at Texas Tech.

Mahomes and the Chiefs have opened up their season with a 3-0 record and have defeated two playoff teams from 2019 in the process. The Chiefs are scheduled to take on the Cam Newton and the New England Patriots in Arrowhead on Sunday.

Who knows, maybe we will see some Patrick Mahomes Royals jerseys in the crowd.
