Tech Soccer Draws with Oklahoma

Texas Tech soccer went up to Norman to play the Sooners in search of their first win of the season, instead, it was yet another draw for the Red Raiders.

Charolette Teeter was the star of the game for the Red Raiders as she netted both goals on the night. Teeter scored off of a PK in the 69th minute as well as in the 88th minute off a beautiful cross from Kirsten Davis.

The Red Raiders have struggled out of the gate to find their footing this season. That can somewhat be attributed to COVID-19 and the restrictions that put on the club, however, Coach Stone and Crew are a no-excuses.

They were projected to be atop the conference and win the Big 12 Title this season according to the preseason polls. Tech will need some help from other conference foes in order to make that happen.

The schedule doesn’t get any easier for the Red Raiders as they welcome in the #4 West Virginia Lady Mountaineers on Friday, Oct 9th.
