The best quarterback prospect in some time has made his commitment to Texas Tech official by signing on the dotted line. Behren Morton, a quarterback out of Eastland will be coming to Texas Tech in the spring. Morton is the 9th highest-ranked recruit in program history and could be the next great quarterback at Texas Tech.
Morton recently announced via his Twitter page that he would be taking a few days to reflect on changes made to the staff. It has been rumored that the University of Texas was attempting to flip Morton to heir program. Morton committed to Texas Tech in October of 2019 has even been a huge recruiter for the Class of 2021.
Coach Wells has now put together a solid signing class with a bunch of talented players. Morton is simply the best get recruiting-wise in several years. A lot of people in the program and the fan base believe Morton will be the starting quarterback starting next season.
