The departures from the 2020-2021 Red Raider Basketball team are growing in number. Freshman forward Tyreek Smith will be entering the transfer portal, according to many sources. Smith played a role this season off the bench and would have most certainly had a larger role going into next season.
Smith averaged 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game off the bench for the Red Raiders. He was one of the few forwards to come off the bench this season for the team. Smith’s role would have increased next season as he was growing and getting better as the season went on.
