Jacob Harris recently talked to Makhilyn Young to recap his visit to Texas Tech! Their conversation is below!
Question: Describe your visit to me.
Young: It was a nice campus they have a lot of different stuff!
Question: What about the Texas Tech Staff stood out to you?
Young: What I like about the coaching staff is that they are straight forward with you.
Question: Which Coach have you spoken to the most?
Young: I spoke to Coach Smith the Running Backs Coach.
Question: Do you have any offers yet?
Young: Yes I have offers from Houston Baptist, UTPB, and Jackson State.
Question: What are you looking for in a program?
Young: What I am looking for in a program is a place that feels like home and a nice environment to get my Education
Question: What would an offer from Texas Tech mean to you?
Young: It would mean a lot I’d be very blessed to receive one.
Question: What other camps/ schools are you visiting this summer?
Young: I will be going to TCU the 10th and Stephen F. Austin the following day for a camp. I will also be taking unofficial visits to Incarnate Word, Houston Baptist, and UTEP.
Question: What was your favorite thing about Lubbock?
Young: How it’s close to home and how everything you need is right there.
Question: Who is your biggest mentor?
Young: My parents, my Uncle, and my coaches.
Question: Anything else you want Red Raider Nation to know about you?
Young: I have a twin!
