New Season for Women’s Soccer

Last season the Lady Raiders held a record of five wins, six losses, and two ties. The season came with its challenges of COVID-19 and a couple of game cancellations and postponements. Even though their season did not go as planned, the Lady Raiders have their eyes on starting fresh in the 2021 season.

The Lady Raiders kick off their season tomorrow versus the UTEP Miners. They are playing here in Lubbock at the John Walker Soccer Complex at seven in the evening. The UTEP Miners have already kicked their 2021 campaign off with a 0-3 loss versus Colorado College, so expect them to bring their A-game.

 If you can’t make it out to this game, the Lady Raiders play three more times in just a month of August. After their game against UTEP, they face UC San Diego on August 22nd, Hartford on August 26th, and Abilene Christian on August 29th. Let’s get the seats filled and the crowd loud so we can support our Lady Raiders going into the 2021 season.
