The Lady Raiders have been on a four-game skid since the 64-45 win over Kansas State on January 15th. Over the last three weeks, they have fallen short against several nationally-ranked opponents, No. 9 Baylor and No. 11 Iowa State, in what is no doubt the heart of their schedule.
Headed into Manhattan, Kansas this weekend, the Lady Raiders will face off against the No. 25-Ranked Wildcats, who are also fresh off a loss to Iowa State on Wednesday night. The key to Saturday is going to be containing players like Brylee Glenn who is coming off a 19-point performance against the Cyclones this week, and Ayoka Lee who is averaging 24.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
If Tech can minimize the Kansas State scoring threat and with another strong showing from Taylah Thomas and Vivian Gray, the Lady Raiders will have an incredible opportunity to pick up another ranked victory and sweep the Wildcats for the season.
