Describe your visit to Texas Tech in a couple of sentences.

It was a great camp. I had a great time working with the coaching staff and I got better.

Describe the Coaching Staff at Texas Tech.

The culture at Tech is great. Coach Kittley, Bryant, and McGuire are very passionate guys. You can tell they love what they do.

Describe Joey McGuire in 5 words or less.

Ready to outwork everyone.

Who from Texas Tech has been in contact with you the most and what is that relationship like?

Coach Kittley and Coach Bryant. I have a great relationship with both of them. I met coach Kittley during spring ball when he came down to Del Valle.

What about Texas Tech stands out to you?

My family ties with Tech. The majority of my family are alumni. Keeping the tradition going is intriguing.

What are you looking for in a College Program?

I’m looking for a school that will invest in me and prepares me for my future off the field.

What would/does an offer from Texas Tech mean to you?

A lot. It’s a dream I’ve had since I was a little kid. It’s a dream come true.

What skills do you bring to the field?

Arm strength and athleticism are something I’ve always brought to the table.

What are some things you are working on this summer?

Getting bigger and stronger.

Who do you model your game after? Why?

Josh Allen. I love the way he plays and he’s my favorite quarterback.

Where else do you plan to visit/ camp this summer?

I’ll be at Pitt, Baylor, Houston, and Texas this month.
