Texas Tech Head Football Coach, Matt Wells, Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Red Raiders will be without their Head Coach in the 2020 season finale

The Red Raider football teams head man, Matt Wells, has tested positive for COVID-19. This coming with just over a day until Texas Techs season finale against the Kansas Jayhawks.

In Wells’s absence, Defensive Coordinator, Keith Patterson, will take over in Well’s spot Per Texas Tech Athletics release.

The Red Raiders are 27.5 point favorites over the Big 12 bottom feeders, Kansas Jayhawks on what will be Senior Day for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Hope Wells gets well soon. Just don’t call the plays against Kansas. That way, we might win. Please, no onside kicks !!!

I am sad Wells has COVID. However, with the OC and DC calling plays free from his input, we may actually see some great football.
