Macy Shultz’s Dominant Weekend Earns Her Player of the Week

This week, the Red Raider soccer team was able to go undefeated with some dominant performances throughout the whole team. This week, junior forward Macy Shultz claims Player of the Week for her shot taking and shot-making in the 6-0 win versus Abilene Christian and 1-0 victory over Hartford.

In Thursday’s game against Hartford, goals were hard to come by due to outstanding play by both defenses. Shultz took three shots at the goal with one ruled as “on goal”. Even though Shultz did not tally a goal in this match, her hustle was undeniably there for the whole 90 minutes.

In Sunday’s match against Abilene Christian, goals came easily for the Red Raiders. Shultz contributed three shots scoring two goals and assisted on one goal to Macy Blackburn. Overall all the Red Raider’s played great games with a lot of great performances, but Shultz undeniably helped the Red Raiders to their undefeated week.

The Red Raiders continue their homestand on Thursday versus Cal State Fullerton and Sunday versus UTSA. Guns Up!
