Bryn Gerlich Returns Leadership and Scoring Prowess to Lady Raiders

Bryn is entering her third season at Texas Tech. From year one to two, Gerlich improved in almost every statistical category. Increased her three-point percentage, increased points per game, and doubled the number of games where she scored 10 or more points. All while leading the team in assists for the second straight year. Last season she averaged over seven points and over four assists per contest while shooting at a 39/38/69 clip.

Bryn joined the team from Oklahoma State with the hiring of her mom as the head coach in 2020. Before that she was a decorated high school star at Colleyville Heritage, winning District MVP twice and scoring over 2,000 points.

Gerlich started each of the final 15 games last season, and with Vivian Gray departing to the WNBA, she is in line to have an even bigger role in year three.
