Guns Up Nation Interview with Archer City Athlete Elijah Jackson

We sat down with Class of 2024 athlete Elijah Jackson to talk about Texas Tech Football! Below is our conversation:

Question: Describe your recruitment to me.

Jackson: It’s starting to open up and gets better by the day.

Question: What does an offer from Texas Tech mean to you?

Jackson: The offer from Tech means a lot. It’s semi-close to home.

Question: Who has been your main contact at Texas Tech?

Jackson: Coach (Sonny) Cumbie.

Question: What is your relationship with Coach Cumbie like?

Jackson: It’s a mutual relationship and is getting better.

Question: Do you plan on visiting Texas Tech? If so, when?

Jackson: Yes and sometime in July maybe.

Question: What other camps/ visits are you taking this summer?

Jackson: I have a camp at Florida State June 18th.

Question: What are you looking for in a college football program?

Jackson: Looking to see if they put me in the right position to succeed.

Question: Who is your biggest mentor?

Jackson: My biggest mentor is my Defensive coach from my school Coach Gray.

Question: Anything else you want Red Raider Nation to know about you?

Jackson: I’m willing to go the extra mile!
