Red Raider Soccer is on the Road to Remain Undefeated in Conference

Last week the Red Raiders were able to take care of business versus Oklahoma and Kansas State and start 2-0 in Conference play. Overall the Red Raiders are 9-1-1 on the season but have yet to be nationally ranked again after falling earlier in the season to Arizona State.

This week the Red Raiders are looking to build off the three-game win streak they are currently on, but they will have to do it on the road. Their first opponent is the Baylor Bears who are 6-2-3 on their season. The Bears last two games resulted in a 2-1 win versus TCU and another 2-1 victory against Oklahoma State. Baylor is pretty solid on defense by never allowing an opponent over 2 goals in any of their games this season. Their three losses have come from Nebraska, Minnesota, and Texas A&M. The Red Raiders play Baylor on Thursday, Sept. (30) at 7 pm. It can be broadcasted on ESPN Plus.

On Sunday, Oct. 3 the Red Raiders travel to Austin to play the Longhorns. Texas is 6-3-2 on the season and is also, undefeated in the BIG 12 Conference. Their last two matches resulted in a 4-3 victory against Oklahoma and a 2-0 win against Kansas State. The Longhorn’s two losses have come from Oregon and No. 23 Georgetown.
