Red Raider Soccer Win Streak at Four After Two Stellar Wins

This week, the Red Raiders competed in two home game stands against Cal State Fullerton and UTSA. The Red Raiders were looking to extend on the winning streak they are currently on and they did not disappoint.

Against Cal State Fullerton, the Red Raiders started the game early with a goal scored at the 13 minute-mark by Sierra Castles, assisted by Kirsten Davis. The team went into halftime leading by a score of 1-0. Coming out of the half, the Red Raiders were able to score again in the 56th minute with a goal by Ashleigh Williams assisted by Macy Blackburn. The game ended with a late goal by Cal State Fullerton but the lone goal would not be enough. The final was 2-1.

In the second match against UTSA, the sheer dominance by the Red Raiders was clear. The first goal of the game for the Red Raiders came at the 26th minute by Hannah Anderson, assisted by Macy Blackburn. The next two goals by the Red Raiders came after halftime in the 64th and 70th minutes. The goals were scored by Kirsten Davis assisted by Jen Rose, and Hannah Anderson assisted by Ashleigh Williams.

The Red Raiders have continued their winning streak to four games making them 5-0-1 on the season. Next week the Red Raiders play in the Wildcat Invitational with an opening-round game against the Arizona Wildcats. The game will be televised on the PAC-12 Network. Guns Up!
