Newly Ranked Red Raider Soccer travels to Wildcat Invitational

After looking at the Lady Raider schedule this week, you might notice it will look a little different. After another undefeated weekend, the Lady Raiders are nationally ranked at 21. This decision was made by United Soccer Coaches and is released weekly. The Lady Raiders were not previously ranked the week prior so having this kind of jump is impressive.

This week the Lady Raiders travel to Tucson, Arizona to participate in the Wildcat Invitational. Their first matchup will be on Thursday against the Arizona Wildcats, and again on Sunday versus previously ranked Arizona State. The Sun Devils are 5-1 on the season and were just recently knocked out of national rankings, so they will be looking for an opportunity to get back into the rankings.

The Red Raiders have these two games at the Wildcat Invitational and one more game versus Eastern Washington at home before they start BIG 12 play. We wish the team the best of luck and hope they come back with two more victories to add to the win column. Guns Up!
